Auto detailing operations often have to choose between either conventional pressure washers or steam cleaner -- both of which have drawbacks.
Pressure washers can waste up to 5 GPM of water, which may result in EPA fines. As a result, auto detailing professionals often have to acquire a water capture and re-circulating system. Pressure washers also produce pressures of up to 3000 psi, which can damage paint and other fragile vehicle surfaces.
Steam cleaners do not have enough power for tough dirt. The units typically generate pressure levels of only up to 100 psi or so, and use steam that contains just 5% water. In addition, the machines can lose pressure and temperature as time passes. Employees end up wiping by hand, which can scratch finishes and yield poor results.
The 6230SCW
The Super Max™ 6230SCW auto cleaning machine generates a pressure level of 1000 psi, steam temperatures of up to 300º F and flow rates of up to .5 GPM. The low flow rate will not harm vehicle surfaces and wastes little water. The machine can run for up to 10 hours with a single 300-gallon fill up.
The mobile auto detailing machine is powered by electricity and heated with propane. The 6230SCW maintains a steady temperature and pressure throughout its operation.
The machine removes dirt, mud, brake dust, bugs, tar, salt, grease, oil, and tree sap. This auto detailing equipment is ideal for cleaning delicate vehicle surfaces, such as wheels, car exteriors and glass.
It is designed for users requiring a 220-240V machine.
