WOBURN, MA, U.S.A. - August 17, 2010 -- Daimer Industries, Inc.®, recognized worldwide as a vendor of disinfecting equipment and steam cleaners, has released a new machine featuring the company's ATIS® antiseptic design. Recent evaluations by an established American facility, have shown ATIS® to be effective on an HAI (hospital acquired infection) called MRSA (Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus).
The latest steam cleaners offering ATIS®, the KleenJet® 8348-360 CP series, support 480V power.

480V Antiseptic Steam Cleaners
Deadly microbes, such as MRSA, typically acquired in hospital settings caused about 50,000 deaths and cost around $8 billion to treat back in 2006, as noted in a study discussed in Medical News Today. In many cases, the unnecessary infections may have been preventable with appropriate disinfecting practices.
In recent ATIS®/MRSA laboratory tests, Daimer® ATIS® design, bundled in certain lines of the company's steam cleaners, provided log reductions identified at 5.378, nearly a perfect rating. ATIS® is known to provide equal efficacy on non-HAI microorganism, such as mold and food poisoning bacteria, including Listeria and Salmonella.
Daimer®'s 480V 8348-360 CP industrial steam cleaners are rated at 3650 watts, which means the devices can generate more than twice the steam density as 1600-watt systems. The 8348-360 CP systems support three phase, 60 Hz power.
The machines are rated for temperatures approaching 329ºF and pressure levels approaching 120 psi. The new systems are designed around 14-liter stainless steel boilers featuring 10-liter continuous refill tanks. ATIS® disinfecting componentry is integrated into the system boilers.
