The Super Max™ 15400 AST® stationary, natural gas, propane or oil heated, electric powered, industrial tri-mode pressure washer features Daimer's exclusive AST® (Automatic Shutoff Technology™). This world's only technology reduces the wear and tear on the pump and other components, thus further extending the life of this elite Daimer pressure washer. Powered by a 1.5 HP NEMA engine and offering the same heating options as the 15200 AST® (no.1 or no. 2 heating oil, diesel, kerosene, natural gas, or propane), this versatile electric pressure washer can function independently as a cold water, hot water, or steam pressure washer. The Super Max® 15400 AST® provides the same rugged stability as the 15200 AST® pressure washer machine, yet with a higher flow rate (3 GPM) and lower pressure (700 psi). This distinction makes the 15400 AST® ideal for industrial/commercial facilities requiring the addition of a permanent pressure washer system, yet with a need for lower pressure for less robust cleaning. This dynamic stationary pressure washer machine can also be purchased with the versatile two gun operation. What is AST® Technology?AST® is a proprietary system that works as follows: When AST® is engaged, it shuts off the pump and motor after 30 seconds if the gun is not in use and water is not flowing through the system. When the pressure washer operator pulls the trigger again, the motor and pump go on. This feature is particularly useful for applications in which the pressure washer operator is using a long hose, say more than 25 feet, and it is not practical for them to go back and forth to the machine to turn it off during every break. The pumps and motors in conventional electric pressure washers remain active whether or not water is flowing through the system. As a result the user has to keep walking back to the system to shut it off or risk damaging the motor and pump.
