Super Max 12880 AF
The Super Max⢠12880 AF is a super powerful, industrial/commercial gas pressure washer with the same functionality and performance specs as the 12860 AF. The 12880 AF is powered by an 18 HP gasoline engine for greater mobility and use in outdoor applications where an electrical supply is not readily available. It has a pressure level of 3000 psi, a flow rate of 5 GPM, and reaches hot water temperatures of up to 180°F. Adding the functionality of this versatile pressure washer machine is the phosphatizing system for the pre-treating of metal surfaces that comes standard. Additional options for the 12880 AF include two gun operation.

The Super Max™ 12880 AF is a powerful tri-mode commercial industrial gas pressure washer that offers the same features and power (5 GPM flow rate at a pressure of 3000 psi), as the 12860 AF; however, the Super Max™ 12880 AF is powered by an 18 HP gasoline engine. Like the 12860 AF, the 12880 AF is available with either no.1 no.2 heating oil, diesel, or kerosene heating; two gun operation is also an available option. Additionally, the 12880 AF can be configured with wheels for added mobility if desired.
Standard on all 12000 AF series pressure washers is Daimer's exceptional phosphatizing system for the pre-treatment of metal surfaces to prevent rust and corrosion and to prepare the surfaces for the application of paint primer or powder coating. This phosphatizing system uses downstream injection in which the chemical contacts only the injector, high-pressure hose, trigger gun, wand and nozzle, all of which are easy to protect against corrosive attack. This added to the high quality stainless steel components makes the 12880 AF ideal for a variety of powder coating and other metal pre-treating applications.The included dual lance wand is comprised of heavy-duty stainless steel and features a high-pressure nozzle and low-pressure nozzle. By opening and closing the crossover valve the water flow is directed through either of these nozzles, but not both at the same time.
This unit is ideal for demanding outdoor applications or those without a reliable electric supply. Daimer offers wonderful advantages with its burners over other gas pressure washers in the industry. The 12880 AF gas pressure washer uses a Heavy-Duty 120 Volt A.C. Burner Powered by a Belt Driven Closed Loop A.C. Generator. Other companies offering lower quality gas pressure washers use inexpensive 12 Volt DC Oil Burners, which exhibit a spark intensity reduction when the battery is less than 100%. Over time, this reduction creates a buildup of carbon and soot on the electrodes, fuel nozzle, combustion chamber and heat exchanger coil, all of which further impairs combustion efficiency. Batteries do not always run at 100% charge! Frequent engine starts and periods of down time will keep most batteries at less than full charge, and 12 volt oil burners are prone to failure!
